Grab Superapp and Circle, the Stablecoin Creator, Set to Commence Web3 Wallet Trial in Singapore

This move will enable users to leverage vouchers in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) while also accumulating rewards and collectibles. Initially, this pilot program will be introduced during the Singapore Grand Prix on September 17. Grab, with its vast user base of approximately 180 million, ranks as one of Southeast Asia's most widely used consumer apps. Meanwhile, Circle is recognized for its management of the USD Coin (USDC), a stablecoin that maintains a 1:1 peg to the U.S. dollar. 

"I think it’s gonna be very easy for us to imagine a world next year where we can take a billion users and have access to Web3, and therefore have access to transacting stablecoins," Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said at Token2049 in Singapore.
